Homework: Write the 12 analogy statements for the 12 organelles listed on the cell analogy explanation sheet (you may not pick factory).

Students will know the role of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus in the secretion of proteins.

Students will know cells are enclosed within semipermeable mebranes that regulate their interaction with their surroundings.

1) Relationship between ribosomes, rough er, Golgi apparatus, and cell membrane
2) Organelle review using LoopWriter
3) Work on cell analogy drawing & writing (13 organelles)
