Students will know the role of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus in the secretion of proteins.

Students will know cells are enclosed within semipermeable mebranes that regulate their interaction with their surroundings.

1) Ecology lookback quiz
2) Relationship between ribosomes, rough er, Golgi apparatus, and cell membrane
3) Work on cell analogy drawing & writing (13 organelles)

Homework: Finish cell analogy & Study for cell vocab quiz (cumulative to biochem, ecology, sci meth)

2) Give analogy presentations of 5 of your "best" organelles, but you must include ribosomes and say what your product is.
